Thank you, Kirby. I like your colors better than Monsieur M! And it’s in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where we were supposed to be in early July… Hi from Stuart and Christie
Thanks Kirby. We are just about “locked in” here at White Sands. It’s been long enough to become a bit boring and seeing these paintings are really uplifting.
Hello Lynn! I have told my friends here about our “isolation” in Arroyo Hondo when the schools were closed for snow days. Remember how we would all gather and cook and let the kids play. The good ole days…really!
Kirby,Thank you for your art blog. You are so talented and I enjoy receiving them and especially like the Family Portrait. I hope you are doing well and staying safe.
Hi Kirby,
I love this. Can’t decide which I love best, yours or his (and he’s one of my all time favorites. Yours thrills me. I’ve started painting again. I miss seeing you. Hope you’re and your loved ones are well.
That you KIrby!! Just what we need! You are a joy💗

Kirby – I love your version of Family Portrait! Nice to receive this. Hard to believe so many years have already slipped by since we all enjoyed our up-close encounter with whales together. – Jo Anne
Kirby, it’s time to tell you how much I always enjoy your art blogs. I’m so impressed that you share these lovely images – truly so generous on your part plus they’re very good little lessons and reminders of creativity I always intend to pursue but don’t that often.
Thank you. I was in the class of 64 at SMU (Eileen Kelly) and majored in commercial art. I got married after my junior year and graduated from UNM and have lived in N.M. ever since.
I wish you well. And I’m a fan! Eileen Taulbee

Hi Kirby–your painting is beautiful. Hope this period is giving you lots of time to paint!!
Thank you. We all need things to cheer us up. We are confined to the house for three months until 14 June. At the moment, the sun shines and the garden is becoming full of blossoms, so there are some thins to cheer us.
Enjoyed these colorful scenes, best of all didn’t know you were on
Pinterest. Will have fun seeing what all you have posted.
Spend many happy hours on Pinterest. Countless visual delights.
I’m just now getting around to looking at & deleting my emails. I NEVER delete your blog without looking & enjoying it fully. I have to say that I prefer your fabulous painting to Matisse’s. You are incredibly talented. Love you dear one. You & Roberto stay well please! We’re looking forward to our gang’s ‘coming out” party.
OH, Kirby thank you, so much…yes I’m in, as all are…Love your colors & style, thanks again.
I’m going (If we still have it) to the Oct reunion. Even if we don’t, I’ll probably go & see some other folks. Hope you are well.
Regards,
Barbara (Waddill) Jansen
There is currently an exhibition of Matisse and Monet at the Baker Museum here in Naples.
I should have gone before this virus hit.
Too late now.
